I have been feeling older lately. I'm not sure why. It could be the stress of selling a house. Or paying bills. Or worrying about loosing weight. Or hanging out with a 23 year-old who has never heard of some of my favorite movies. Maybe it's a good thing I don't get to socialize much with people my own age. Most 27 year-olds don't have 3 kids; the oldest being almost 9. I think it's time to dye my hair. That always makes me feel better. Some chocolate may be good too. Elise tells me that I'm not old until I turn 30. Maybe 27 isn't so bad.

I am eternally grateful that you have a daughter that is older than mine, it's the only thing that makes me feel better about the fact that I am 3 years older than you are.
Now that you are 27, you are old. Just face it, Cyndi. And the fact that you have an almost 9 year old really makes you older. Technically, yes, I am older than you, I'm 32, but because you have an almost 9 yr old, you are a totally O-L-D LADY!!! Love ya!
Ha! You old women trying to reclaim your youth at Cyndi's expense is pretty funny.
Cyndi still goes to see punk rock shows, which totally overpowers having a 9 year-old kid. Youth is how your live your life, not how old you are (and especially not how old your kid is). Sure going to punk shows would make anyone feel young...but Cyndi will be deaf a lot sooner than I will, not to mention how often she dyes her hair. My hair is almost guaranteed to out-live hers!
I think my hair is holding up fine. I think my straight iron does more damage than dying my hair. Deaf is more acceptable to me than not going to concerts.
You may be right about the hair. So, when she's bald, feel free to call her old.
