Here are some good guinea pig websites:
http://www.ahc.umn.edu/rar/MNAALAS/GPig.html -Good basic care tips. Even has an illustration on how to pick one up. http://web.onetel.net.uk/~petergurney/atozmainpage.htm -Good for health problem info. This guy knows a lot about guinea pigs. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0793831512/ref=wl_it_dp/102-1318959-9625707?%5Fencoding=UTF8&colid=3HJESQJJYAKG7&coliid=IEXXUZ7MKKXXJ&v=glance&n=283155 -Buy this book. It's suppose to be the best GP book. http://www.guinealynx.com/healthycavy.html --Good basic care site. http://www.gorgeousguineas.com/products.html --This is where I buy my pigs shampoo. I have also bought treatments for their skin problems from them. Tips from me: -Don't use pine bedding. It can cause respiratory problems and it can be bad for their feet. -If your pig is losing weight, something is wrong. Check their teeth. GP's teeth can get too long and it makes it hard to impossible to eat. -If you have kids around who are not familiar with how to treat a GP, keep an eye on them. Picking them up and dropping them is not a good thing. -Don't look at just one website for info. Some sites contradict others. Look at several to make sure you are getting the right info. -We bathe our pigs once a month. Trackbacks

Thanks! I am going to check them out. My sister-in-law and her family have 14 gp's!!! They absolutely love them, but I think that is going a little far.
