Summer

I am not a fan of summer.

Here are some reasons why:

-It's way too hot. To make things worse it's humid.

-I'm not that big of a beach fan.

-I don't like salt water, and I don't like waves.

-Lakes are fine.

-I have fair skin, so I have to use a lot of sunscreen.

-I have kids, so I have to put sunscreen on them.

-Kids are home from school. (can be good or bad)

-I don't like swimming in public places.

-I don't like the clothes I have to wear in the summer.

Fall is my favorite season. Here are some reasons why:

-I get to wear sweaters, but it's not too cold.

-The leaves change color.

-I love the clean brisk air of autumn. It's so invigorating.

-I love the smell of autumn.

-My birthday is in the fall.

-I love to watch the sunset on a clear fall day. Sunsets go so well with fall foliage.

-Kids are back in school.

I used to feel exactly the same way, but I appreciate summer a little more after living through a Rexburg summer. One sunscreen tip: Coppertone Kids Continuous Spray has saved my life! It costs a little more, but it is worth it. I don't get that yucky sunscreen smell all over my hands and it covers the kids' whole bodies with little effort. But I agree: Fall is the best!!! I LOVE FALL!!! There is nothing that beats the smell, and the wonderfulness of fall.

I've just started using that sunscreen too. It is a lot easier. Especially when you are in a hurry.

Count me as another Autumn lover. The only bad thing about fall is that winter comes next. I'll bet the colors in Virginia are fantastic. Utah is great if you can get up in the mountains on the right day. But there just isn't as many trees. Still, it really is pretty. I agree with your dislikes about summer except we don't get too much humidity here. Thank heavens.
