School and Stuff

School started for Elise and Jake yesterday. Ben took the day off (like he usually does),so we decided to take Claire out to lunch to celebrate. Claire is so much better when she is by herself. She is perfectly happy to play all by herself. She harldy ever whines about having nothing to do, or nothing to play with.

I'm so happy school has started. I don't know how some moms do home schooling. I think I would go insane. Now I need to think of some good activities to do with Claire. She has two more years left till kindergarten. I'd like to start working on her alphabet skills. I'd like her to be reading by next fall. My original goal was this fall, but that didn't happen. (mostly due to my laziness)

Another goal I have is to start exercising again. I have done pretty awful for the past month. If only it wasn't so hard to get up early. I am not a morning person. I need to eat healthier as well. I wish I was one of those people who have no problem eating healthy every day. I wish I had no desire to eat cheese, fried food, fried cheese, chocolate, ice cream,.....

I wish I had a little cheerleading squad that would materialize for me every time I made a healthy eating decision or every time I exercised. Maybe that would motivate me.

Gooooooooo Cyndi! You ate those veggies!! Yippity Doo!!!

Can I borrow those cheerleaders? I haven't exercised in over a week and I feel like a schlub. But since you are going to do it, I am going to do it. I will go tomorrow morning. I signed up for a water aerobics class which starts Friday morning at 6:30am. I am definitely not a morning person... but it will all be worth it when I am magically transformed into Tyra Banks. I will settle for Heidi Klum.

I need those cheerleaders too. And I don't honestly believe those people who say they prefer salads. I know a woman who claims to hate chocolate. There can be no truth in these statements.

I don't mind salads. But I can't take it if I have to eat them on a regular basis.

People who don't like chocolate are crazy. Elise doesn't like pizza, which I find weird as well. I think she's the first kid I have met who doesn't like it. She'd prefer to eat salad over pizza.

Anna doesn't like pizza either... When we get Sam's club pizza she always asks me to get her the chicken ceasar salad they have there. Jeff doens't like chocolate and I think he is crazy!!!
I am planning on starting Monday to eat healthy and exercise again. I kind of took the week off because I have had family in town. I know, excuses, excuses. I can be your guys cheerleaders if you will be mine. I can do a pretty mean yippity doo!!!

Hehe. I just pictured us all in cheerleading outfits, doing cheers.

I forgot Anna didn't like pizza either. What weird kids we have.

Yeah, Caroline doesn't like pizza either! What is it with these kids? Is it part of a mutated "Shuck" gene or someting?
