When we found out we were having a fourth child, we knew we'd have to do some room shuffling. We have a four bedroom house. Right now, Elise and Claire share a room and Jake has his own room. The fourth bedroom was being "used" as Ben's photo studio. With the new baby, we decided that Ben needed to loose the photo studio. He hadn't been using it very much, and we needed the space.
Elise has been very excited about getting her own room. Claire will get to share a room with the baby. I have been on the look out for decorating ideas for Elise's new room. I wanted something a little more grown up, but still fun. Here are some ideas I've found for the overall style/color scheme: Here is the comforter I want to get: I just finished painting a yard sale dresser black, and we have some brushed chrome hardware for it. I also have a big mirror I'm going to paint black to use as part of a vanity set up. When we paint the walls, I'll probablly do them white and have a green accent wall. I think it's going to end up being really cute. I've got a long way to go, but If I ever finish it, I'll post some pics. Tuesday, June 19. 2007
